Our next blood drive will be this Wednesday, January 4, from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. You may sign up online to donate at www.mysignup.com/pleasant. Donors must be at least 17 years old. Please join us for our next Wednesday Night Dinner hosted by the United Methodist Men on January 11 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The menu will include homemade brunswick stew, cornbread, desserts, and tea. Freewill donations will be accepted. If one brunswick stew dinner is not enough, the UMM will also be selling quart-size containers of stew for $7 each (pre-order price) and $8 (after the dinner, while supplies last). Fusion Small Groups: Want to get together with your friends at church in a social setting? Small groups are being started to provide this opportunity for folks ages 25 – 40ish. Preschool registration for the 2011- 2012 school year begins soon! Registration forms will be available on the church website, www.pgumc.org, in the Narthex, and in the foyer of the Education Building by mid-January. Returning students and church members need to turn in their enrollment forms to the Preschool office by January 30. Open enrollment begins February 1. Memorialize loved ones or special occasions by purchasing a brick for the memorial walkway in front of the church. The United Methodist Men are once again sponsoring the brick sale and will be taking orders until January 31. Bricks will cost $100 each – order forms are located in the pew pads. Once again, PGUMC is participating in the recycled card program for St. Jude’s Ranch.
