“Share Our Shoes, also known as “SOS”, is a shoe charity dedicated to helping those in desperate need of shoes. As a shoe charity, we collect new or gently worn shoes and give them to someone in desperate need. Each pair of shoes gives someone in need a smile and a chance to walk comfortably and safely during their times of hardship. This is a great way to recycle shoes and help someone less fortunate.
There are an estimated 400 million, without shoes in today’s world” says Jennifer Pierce, Director of Share Our Shoes, “and at the same time, there are an estimated 1½ billion unused shoes sitting in American closets.”Rex Rehab- 4210 Lake Boone Trail Raleigh, NC 27607 http://www.rexhealth.com/body.cfm?id=494
