<p><strong>Spring cleaning left you with a lot of stuff you don&#8217;t know what to do with?</strong> We&#8217;ve got your solution! We will have a community-wide yard sale this coming Saturday, May 19, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. If you would like to participate, you can rent 1 parking space for $10 or 2 for $15. You can also rent a table for $5 each. Please contact Kathy Lakey at klakey1@gmail.com or (919)796-9220 to reserve your spot. All proceeds (beyond the cost of advertising) will go to support the ministries of PGUMC.</p>
<p><strong>Graduate Recognition Sunday is scheduled for June 3.</strong> If you have a loved one who is graduating from high school, college, or graduate school please contact the church office as soon as possible. Please let us know your graduate’s name, school, and any special degrees they’ll be receiving.</p>
<p><strong>Singers and instrumentalists are needed to provide special music during the summer months while the Chancel Choir is on sabbatical</strong>. Please contact Joe Lupton at joe.lupton@pgumc.org if you’d like to share your musical talents here at church.</p>
<p><strong>Everyone is invited to a Memorial Day picnic on Sunday, May 27, at 5:00 p.m.</strong> The church will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, and drinks &#8211; please bring a side dish and/or a dessert to share. Volunteers will be needed to man the grills. Please contact Lucinda Sullivan if you can help.</p>
<p><strong>It’s time to register for Summer Camp at Pleasant Grove Preschool!</strong> Rising 3 year-olds through current 1st graders are invited for 4 sessions of camp at our preschool. Enrollment forms are located in the foyer of the Education Bldg. and on the church website, www.pgumc.org.</p>
<p>Please silence your cell phone during worship and help us keep our Sanctuary tidy. Trash cans are located in the Narthex and worship bulletins may be placed in the recycle box between the front doors. Also, please remember that food &amp; drinks are discouraged in the Sanctuary at all times.</p>

This is an opportunity to support the relay team and dunk one of your favorite church leaders. The dunking event will take place during the Chicken Pickin’ that is scheduled for May 19. Don’t miss this chance to give someone a good soaking! Want to honor or remember a loved one affected by cancer? Team members will also be taking orders for luminaria and Hope Lanterns to be displayed at the Relay for Life event in June. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Make a Donation to Relay for life and get a chance to dunk one of your favorite PGUMC’s staff members/church leaders!</p>
<p>The actual Dunking Booth Day will be Saturday,  May 19th from 5:30pm-7:30pm during the BBQ Chicken Pickin. The Dunking Booth is being sponsored by the PGUMC&#8217;s United Methodist Men&#8217;s Group for the Relay for Life Cause. Several church leaders have graciously volunteered to spend 15mins in the dunk tank on May 19th. For $1 a throw or a donation you can make sure they get all wet!</p>

<p>5:30pm: Stacy Potratz<br />
6:00pm: Scott Hensley<br />
6:30 pm: Noel or Kevin Currin<br />
7:00 pm: Lucinda Sullivan<br />
7:15pm: Bill Speri<br />
7:30pm: <strong>Finale Winner </strong></p>
<p>  The Church Leader who receives the most Relay donations under their name will be placed in the Dunking tank at 7:30pm for a finale <strong>Surprise Dunk! </strong>Even if you can not participate come on out and watch!</p>
<p> <strong>Current Leaders in Donations after last week are:</strong> If your favorite church leader is not winning come and make a donation on Sunday!<br />

2. Danny Sullivan (a close second but close only counts in horse shoes!!)<br />

<p>Come out May 19 between 5:30 and 7:30 and pay $1 to dunk various chuch leaders.  OR make donations on Sunday May 6 or May 13 to dunk a surprise church leader.</p>
