Weekly Announcements – December 25, 2011

2011 contributions to the church must be received by the church office by December 30 in order for them to be included on your 2011 end-of-year statement. If you have questions, please contact Julie in the church office at 787-7763 or julie.lebria@pgumc.org. Please note that the church office will be closed on December 26 & 27.

Our next blood drive will be on Wednesday, January 4, from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. You may sign up online to donate at www.mysignup.com/pleasant. Donors must be at least 17 years old. Volunteers will be needed to host the blood drive and provide baked goods. Please contact Jean Farrell at 847-5147 or pjfarrell@mindspring.com if you can help.

Please join us for our next Wednesday Night Dinner hosted by the United Methodist Men on January 11 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The menu will include homemade brunswick stew, cornbread, desserts, and tea. Freewill donations will be accepted. If one brunswick stew dinner is not enough, the UMM will also be selling quart-size containers of stew for $7 each (pre-order price) and $8 (after the dinner, while supplies last). Memorialize loved ones or special occasions by purchasing a brick for the memorial walkway in front of the church. The United Methodist Men are once again sponsoring the brick sale and will be taking orders until January 31. Bricks will cost $100 each – order forms are located in the pew pads.
