Children and youth, third grade and older, are invited to participate in our worship services by acolyting. Acolytes serve by lighting the Christ candle and altar candles during the service signifying Christ's presence with us during worship and our mission to take Christ out into the world. Contact Ashley Yohman if your child is interested in participating.

Quest is our 3rd-5th grade youth group. They meet once a month (typically on the third Sunday) during the traditional school year for community-building and outreach. Contact Ashley Yohman for more information.

Our Children's Choir (1st grade-5th grade) practices on Sundays during the school year from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the Choir Room. They sing once a month in worship and offer a Christmas Program each year. Please contact Ashley Yohman at to become involved.

Our Cherub Choir (children up to Kindergarten) is currently still on hold.

We believe that God calls us to make our churches safe places, protecting children and other vulnerable persons from sexual and ritual abuse. God calls us to create communities of faith where children and adults grow safe and strong. Through this belief PGUMC has established a Safe Sanctuary policy.
