Twice each year, Pleasant Grove holds a blood drive in partnership with The Blood Connection.
PGUMC partners with Millbrook UMC to support Family Promise - a program transforming lives of families experiencing temporary homelessness.
American Cancer Society
Primarily through Relay for Life, Pleasant Grove finds a way to support the American Cancer Society every year.
In 1999, the GreatMinds program emerged at PGUMC as an effort to connect with the neighboring community of Stonecrest. Today, kids and youth continue to come on Monday evenings for dinner and programming.

OUT OF THE PEWS Weekend
Each year, the Outreach Committee works with local nonprofits to organize a weekend of service for our congregation. Our goal is to have the entire congregation out in the community, serving in the name of Jesus Christ.
