Arc of the Triangle
Each year during Advent PGUMC supports an angel tree through Arc of the Triangle - an organization providing disability services and support for children and adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
The Blood Connection
Throughout the year Pleasant Grove hosts Blood Drives at the Hyder House.
Sewing & Quilting Ministries
A hardworking team of sewers and cutters made over 17,000 masks for over 20 organizations during the pandemic. Fabric scraps are now being used to make quilts for the Women's Center while men's dress shirts are being used to makes dresses for Dress A Girl Around the World.
Family Promise of Wake County
PGUMC teams up with Millbrook UMC to provide meals and transportation for families transitioning out of homelessness.
Food Bank of CENC
PGUMC regularly supports the Food Bank through monthly collections.
Great Minds
PGUMC hosts a weekly afterschool program for children living in the Stonecrest community.
Hilburn Academy
Pleasant Grove supports Hilburn Academy, along with other local schools, throughout the year by donating snacks for students, Thanksgiving meal boxes, and more.
Inter-Faith Food Shuttle
Backpack Buddies
PGUMC is a regular supporter of IFFS and the Backpack Buddies program through food drives and monetary donations.
Methodist Home for Children
PGUMC supports MHC through monetary donations.
Miracle League of the Triangle
PGUMC supports Miracle League by volunteering. Our VBS 2021 collection provided trophies and jerseys for a team's season.
Robeson County Church & Community Center
Our Young Disciples' sponsor a toy collection each year for Robeson County's Christmas Store.
Rise Against Hunger
PGUMC hosts Rise Against Hunger's food packaging event every few years.
U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants
Pleasant Grove works with USCRI to help with the resettlement process for Afghan refugees by providing apartment furnishings.
Youth Engagement
Our youth support various organizations throughout the year including Triangle Family Services, Diaper Bank of NC, and more.
